Did not all this happen to you, because ye made such sacrifice, and sinned against the Lord? Ye have not followed his voice, to walk in his law, in his ordinances and statutes.
Yee this is the cause, that all misfortune happened unto you, as it is come to pass this day. The boy will presume against the elder, and the vile person against the honorable. Ye when one shall take a friend of his own kindred by the bosom, and say: Thou hast clothing, thou shalt be our head, for thou mayest keep us from this fall and peril.
